Jessie Mac's House Tour
Jessie Mac's was built around 1860 and was the 'manse' or home for the minister of St Mary's Church next door. Many of the original features are still intact, with a turret, ornate cornices and rich old oak banisters. The whole house was refurbished in 2012, sympathetically décorated to provide a calm, warm atmosphere.
Our Bedrooms:
We have seven bedrooms in total, most named after Scottish glens. Six have a shower/bathroom ensuite and the last one has its own private bathroom next door. Take the tour:
Private Double Rooms:
These come with fluffy towels, TV, tea making facilities and firm, comfortable double beds.
Lyon
A spacious ground floor double room with wheel chair access and ensuite facilities.
Almond
A cosy second floor double room with ensuite facilities.
Isla
A cosy second floor double room with ensuite facilities.
Shared Rooms
These come with a mixture of double beds, single beds and bunk beds. The bunks have been specially sourced to sleep even big hairy mountaineers - they're extra sturdy, extra long, with good over head space and even comfortable ladders. Good storage is a must, so rooms will have lockers that can be secured with a padlock if you need to leave valuables behind when you're out exploring.
Clova
Sleeps 4 - two sets of sturdy bunks, ensuite facilities
Shee
Sleeps 4 - one double bed, one set of sturdy bunks, ensuite facilities (psst! As well as having a shower, the ensuite has the only bath in the house.)
Prosen

Schiehallion
Sleeps 5 - one double bed, one single and one set of sturdy bunks. Ensuite shower room and an extra shower room next door.
